How To Support Religion Unplugged During The Holidays

As we reach the end of 2023, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the stories that had the biggest impact this year on the world of religion.
Let us take you through some of the highlights from Religion Unplugged:
Ethnic violence has engulfed Manipur, a state in northeastern India. At least 150 people have been killed, over 6,000 homes and 400 churches destroyed and more than 50,000 people remain displaced.
Since Hamas’ Oct. 7 cross-border assault on multiple army bases, kibbutzim, cities and a music festival near Gaza, staff at the Israel Defense Forces’ Shura Army Base have been working around the clock to identify the victims.
The events of that day also reveal a story of heroism, hope, love and sacrifice. On that very day, and the weeks that followed, New York became a city of quiet heroes that day 22 years ago. Tim Brown was one of them.
Stories like these strengthen our knowledge of the world and how faith matters in the lives of the vast majority of people on the planet. They need to be told. And they’re not cheap to produce. That’s why we’re counting on you to help us continue to do this important work.
