At Religion Unplugged, a 501 c3 nonprofit, we’re committed to offering something different: Journalism that treats faith not as a curiosity, but as a serious force in the world. We cover stories — through text, video and audio — from across religious traditions and geographic borders, telling stories others miss.

This work isn’t easy or cheap. Our global network of journalists from five continents work hard each day to bring these award-winning stories to you — in many cases from areas where reporting can be sensitive or even dangerous

We publish with editorial independence. And most importantly, we strive to honor the dignity and complexity of the communities and beliefs we cover.
